A collection of personal favorites.
This project started some 6ish years ago with a screenshot on my phone, of Coco Hotel in Copenhagen, followed by tons of website links, bookmarks on Instagram or emails sent to myself. Every time I stumbled upon a hotel or restaurant I wanted to visit, I saved it somewhere, eventually growing into a list of countless personal favorites.
By the end of 2025 I wanted to publish this list, but it took until summer 2026 to actually sit down and shape it the way I wanted it to be. The internet is full of blogs where you have to dig through tons of articles just to find some nice breakfast spots, or Instagram accounts showcasing luxury stays and restaurants with menu prices that can get you a flight across the Atlantic.
I wanted something way simpler and more approachable: A curated site, easy to use and access, with places that have a nice vibe, an eye for aesthetics, good taste and seem affordable, some more, some less (admitted). Selected instead of listing everything. Like that one friend you ask for recommendations.
